If you plan to go to a place where it is not possible to connect, you can save an area of Google Maps on your phone or tablet so you can use it offline.

Use Google Maps Offline:

  1. On your phone or tablet, open Google Maps, make sure you're connected to the Internet
  2. Tap your profile picture and then go to "Offline Maps".
  3. Then click on "Select your own map".
  4. Select the map area you need and click Download.

After downloading an area, use the Google Maps app as you normally would.
